Keeping your employees safe may require sampling or monitoring of the hazardous exposures in the workplace. In some cases OSHA requires monitoring to assure exposures are below regulatory levels. Our certified experts can conduct program assessments, sampling or monitoring at your site to quantify worker exposure, identify control measures, provide worker training and evaluate the effectiveness of your program. We offer building assessments of key materials like asbestos, detect lead or radon that may be present, and design remediation plans. We offer Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessments of mold, bacteria including legionella, hazardous conditions such as water intrusion, radon and vapor intrusion which may compromise worker health and require compliant corrective action.

    Assessments include:

    • Evaluation of hazardous materials which may be present from inventory and safety data sheets
    • Review of industrial hygiene data and programs for adequacy and compliance
    • Hood certification per ASHRAE 110
    • Building status for issues such as lead, asbestos, radon and vapor intrusion
    • Evaluation of water intrusion, mold exposure, and bacterial exposures including legionella

Sampling and monitoring for hazardous conditions include:

    • Respirable silica
    • Respirable and total particulates
