Roseville Fire Station
In 2011, the Wenck team was hired to serve as Construction Manager for the Roseville Fire Station. Our team worked through the design process to provide Pre-Construction estimating, budgeting, scheduling and Value Engineering. We worked through the Bidding Phase to keep the project on budget and managed all aspects of construction to ensure that the facility was built to award-winning quality standards at a cost-effective price.
Working together with the Owner and Design team throughout the Pre-Construction Phase, Wenck was able to identify more than $800,000 in Value Engineering options, which allowed the project to stay within budget and move forward into construction on schedule.
Our team worked from conception through completion for nearly two years to efficiently design and construct the new Fire Station, which was opened in September of 2013. This was a month ahead of schedule and nearly $120,000 under budget.
Following completion of the project, the Roseville Fire Station was named a “Top Project” by the Finance and Commerce newspaper. “Top Project” candidates were judged based on degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors and management, and sustainability efforts.
