DENVER (July 2019) – Wenck welcomes Eric DeRuyter, PE, Kendall Necker, CCM, Gary Garman, and Jim Kuenning to our Rocky Mountain Region team. All four individuals are recognized industry leaders with decades of experience in their respective fields. In addition, Necker, Garman, and Kuenning have been working together for 15 years at McVehil-Monnett Associates, Inc., a local environmental consulting firm. Our new team will be located at 9250 East Costilla Avenue, Suite 630 Greenwood Village, CO 80112.
DeRuyter has over 27 years of experience in oil & gas, civil engineering, environmental consulting, waste disposal, and remediation. He will serve as a Senior Civil Engineer focusing on developing single-source environmental and engineering solutions for federal, oil & gas, and renewable energy clients. DeRuyter is a registered professional engineer in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah with a B.S. in civil engineering from Colorado State University.
Necker has over 30 years of dispersion modeling, permitting, emissions inventory development, and database management experience. She will serve as a Senior Project Manager focusing on leading air quality management projects including dispersion modeling, Title V/synthetic minor and construction permit preparation, and emissions inventory development for mining, manufacturing, and oil & gas clients. Necker is a Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) with a B.S. in meteorology and a minor in mathematics from Metropolitan State College in Denver.
Garman has over 30 years of air quality dispersion modeling, monitoring, and the development of emission inventories and emission factors experience. He will serve as a Senior Project Manager focusing on managing modeling and permitting projects for government, industrial, and mining clients. Garman holds B.S. in biology from Kansas State University.
Kuenning has over 40 years of professional experience in the application of air quality science. He will serve as a Senior Project Manager focusing on providing air quality impacts, permitting, and monitoring expertise as well as meteorological and hazardous/toxic waste monitoring and assessments for oil & gas, mining, and power & utilities clients. Kuenning holds a B.S. in physics and a M.S. in atmospheric science from Colorado State University.
