Our work preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers provides one example of our capabilities as environmental planners.  The Corps retained Wenck to prepare an EIS for a proposed zinc and copper mine in Crandon, Wisconsin.  This project involved consideration of a number of issues, including ground and surface water quality, soil and aquatic resources, threatened and endangered species and Native American cultural resources.
