Landfill Design and Closure

Wenck has been involved in solid waste permitting activities for clients in Minnesota, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa. Wenck's excellent reputation with regulatory agencies enables us to permit your facility using innovative designs that may be unfamiliar to some agencies. We have permitted expansions into previously undeveloped areas, slope fill expansions, and vertical expansions. Wenck was the design engineer for the LTV ash disposal facility near Schroeder, Minnesota, which is the most recent permitted landfill on a virgin site in Minnesota. Wenck also works with a variety of our clients to provide services for routine permit renewal.
