Geotechnical Services
Geotechnical design applies engineering principles to the use of naturally occurring materials. It is very likely that your project is impacted in some manner, either by using soil materials for construction or though interaction with the earth. Wenck has a team of engineers and geologists who have the experience and education to help you analyze your operations plans to ensure they also have a sound geotechnical design basis.
- Field Investigation: Our staff geologists will provide field services to determine the subsurface conditions of a site.
- Geotechnical Analysis and Design: Our analysis tools allow us to develop solutions to your slope stability, settlement, groundwater flow, seepage, and unsaturated ground flow problems. Our geotechnical design uses those results to predict how your structure will interact with the earth.
- Groundwater Investigations & Remediation: Wenck has several hydrogeologists to assist you with groundwater assessments and remediation. Wenck will characterize the extent of the problem, determine the options for mitigation, negotiate with appropriate regulatory agencies, and implement the approved plan.
- Impoundment Design: Wenck has been involved with waste and water storage impoundments for municipal, food processing, mining, and electric utility clients.
