MINNESOTA (May 10, 2017) – Wenck announced today that Jim Bullert has been named Senior Project Engineer – Wastewater. He will focus on municipal and industrial wastewater treatment design, construction, operations, and permitting.
Bullert brings more than 40 years of experience working as an engineering consultant serving municipal and industrial clients. Recently, his focus has been in wastewater treatment for the food processing industry.
“Jim’s professional network, technical expertise, and experience securing state and federal funding for projects will be an asset to our team and our clients,” said Chris Meehan, water practice area leader, Wenck.
Bullert has served as design engineer and project manager for municipal projects involving water supply, wastewater treatment, stormwater, streets, and utilities. Through his work as a consulting civil engineer for several Minnesota cities he has built an extensive professional network and understanding of the local market. He has acted as design engineer and project manager for industrial projects involving water supply and wastewater treatment as well as permitting, rate negotiations, land application, and flow/waste load reduction.
Bullert holds a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, and is a registered professional engineer in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is a member of several local professional and civic boards, including Water Environment Federation, Central States Water Environment Association, and American Council of Engineering Companies
